On National First Responders Day, the country recognizes paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, police officers, and 911 operators for their service and countless acts of courage.
This year, celebrate National First Responders Day by lending a helping hand to those who help others. Whether it is a community member who wants to show their gratitude or a fellow first responder who calls out the work of a colleague, Kidneys for Communities is empowering others to show appreciation for those in uniform.
Is there a fellow firefighter who needs an extra boost? Or did a 911 operator go above and beyond to help out? Give a small token of your appreciation.
Fill out this nomination form by October 29 to nominate a first responder. Kidneys for Communities will randomly select first responders who will receive a $50 gift card – a small boost to brighten their day.
“Community supports one another,” said Kidneys for Communities CEO Atul Agnihotri. “Our first responders are committed and compassionate about the people they serve, and we hope to remind everyone that even a small token of appreciation can boost someone’s day.”
